Lino Lakes is located on the north side of the Twin Cities and consists of an area of 33 square miles. Lino Lakes is a 20 minute drive to downtown Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The pristine 2,700 acre Rich Creek Chain of Lakes Regional Park Preserve is located within the heart of Lino Lake. This beautiful wildlife habitat guarantees the area will maintain its natural settings in the years to come. There are also 13 lakes, several wetlands, 11 softball/baseball fields, 12 soccer fields, 3 ice rinks, 2 golf courses and over 30 miles of trails.
The majority of Lino Lakes is served by Centennial School District which was ranked as having better schools than 90% of the country, and 95% of the rest of the state in 2011. Centennial School District has four early childhood schools, five elementary schools (grades K-5), one middle school (grades 6-8), and one high school (grades 9-12). The district’s high school graduation rate of 96.4% is at the top of the Minnesota’s rankings.
