White Bear Lake is located approximately 20 miles from downtown St. Paul with a population of about 25,000. White Bear Lake is located in Ramsey and Washington Counties. The city is located on and named after White Bear Lake, one of the largest lakes in the Twin Cities. While in close proximity to the Twin Cities, White Bear Lake still maintains a small-town character. The city’s downtown area has many quaint boutiques, specialty shops and restaurants.
